What lives in the mud? A Safari in the Aveiro Lagoon

More than sixty youngsters, from 3 to 10 years old, and students from the Centro Escolar de Vale de Ílhavo, visited the tidal flats - the intertidal zone - of the Aveiro region. The activity, which took place on June 27th, aimed to raise awareness of the natural treasures of this ecosystem and its vulnerability. In particular, the activity, led by a team from CESAM at the University of Aveiro, aimed to awaken children's interest in natural sciences.
