Researcher of DBIO and CESAM integrates an European project on nanotechnology

Mónica Amorim, researcher at the Department of Biology and CESAM, in the area of nanomaterials toxicology, is the principal investigator of the Portuguese team of an European Project recently approved under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7).
The project "Sustainable SUN-Nanotechnologies," will begin later this year, in the area of nanotechnology, and has an overall budget of about eleven million. Coordinated by the University ca 'Foscari Venice, Italy, it is a "Large-scale Integrating Collaborative Project" and involves 35 partners from 16 European countries.
