Researcher of DBIO and CESAM integrates an European project on nanotechnology

Mónica Amorim, researcher at the Department of Biology and CESAM, in the area of ​​ nanomaterials toxicology, is the principal investigator of the Portuguese team of an European Project recently approved under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7).
The project "Sustainable SUN-Nanotechnologies," will begin later this year, in the area of nanotechnology, and has an overall budget of about eleven million. Coordinated by the University ca 'Foscari Venice, Italy, it is a "Large-scale Integrating Collaborative Project" and involves 35 partners from 16 European countries.
