CESAM research highlighted in the daily newspaper 'Publico'

An article in the newspaper 'Público' highlights the importance of trophic cascades associated with temporary organic sources on the ocean, like logs of wood or animal carcasses, to study marine communities.
The Chemeco (EU) and Carcace projects (FCT), the latter coordinated by the CESAM researcher Ana Hilario, are referred as case studies of ecosystems constituted in the ocean from deposited organic matter.
