Management of Research projects, research and educative activities, directing, organizing and mange projects and field activities. Also, has provided project advisory and project management services to public and private sector. Has been involved in a R & D Innovation transfer perspective and this expertise enabled the qualification to provide R & D services to small and medium enterprises. Partner / consultant of various companies. International collaborations: Promotion of International Consortia and scientific and educational agreements with national and foreign institutions (Europe, Latin America and Africa). Participation in Teacher and Student Exchange Programs with National and International Universities and Research Institutes (Europe, Latin America and Africa). Also involved in technology Transfer (UTT) for the development of innovative technologies and innovation services for enterprises in areas such as marine pollution, marine technologies and biotechnology, Risk Assessment, and wild populations management. Educational activities: He has taught theoretical, theoretical-practical courses and research disciplines and theoretical and practical seminars (scientific and educational) within the curricula in Biology, Biochemistry, and Environmental Engineering to Postgraduate and graduate levels of the University of Aveiro and foreign universities (Brazil, Mozambique, Mexico). Also, Environmental and Capacity building formation. Science dissemination activities with secondary education schools. Organization of field activities and seminar cycles.
