Five new pseudoscorpions discovered in Portugal by a researcher from CESAM

Five new species of pseudoscorpion were discovered in caves at  Algarve, Alentejo, Penela and Leiria by the biologist Ana Sofia Reboleira, who at the time of baptizing one of the species, Occidenchthonius goncalvesi, honored Fernando Gonçalves, professor of the Department of Biology of the University of Aveiro ( UA). The findings add up to 49 new species described over the last decade by speleologist and researcher at the UA's Center for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM).
