IMPRINT+ gets to an end with impressive environmental results

The project IMPRINT+, co-financed by the program Erasmus+ that has already been highlighted by the European Commission as an example of good practices in the area of environmental education, reached an end. This project focused on the promotion of living the life in an environmentally friendly way, giving tools to the youth to be active in the protection of the environment and in changing mentalities towards sustainability. Coordinated by the CESAM researcher Carlos Fonseca, the main goal of IMPRINT+ was to shown that leave a positive footprint in the planet is essential for all. Some of the impressive results of the project include the plantation of more than 19.000 trees, 10 ponds builded to house wildlife, and more than 200 activities of environmental educatiion done reaching more than 10.00 people. Moreover, around 200 portuguese young people participated in international exchange programs, in Portugal and abroad. The complete news can be seen here [in PT].
