The CESAM & dBio researcher Bruno Nunes was at the Escola Básica e Secundária de Anadia on the 10th of January to make a presentation on the theme "Pollution and Preservation of the Oceans", encompassed in a series of initiatives aimed at citizenship education. The initiative was boosted by the teachers of the referred school, namely Professor Teresa Carapinha, and had about 80 participants of the 6th grade, with an average age between 13 and 15 years old. For about an hour and a half, it was possible to present some of the most problematic pollutants that affect oceans, and talk to students about ways to reduce their environmental impact, to have more conscious and participatory citizens in the future around environmental issues.
