CESAM goes to school

Last January, members of CESAM's Ecotoxicology research group visited schools promoting information, demonstration and dissemination sessions, including results of the research carried out at CESAM by their work teams, namely in the project CliMaStat. On the 21st at Colégio Portugês (Aveiro) and on the 28th at Dr. João Carlos Celestino Gomes Secondary School (Ílhavo), the researchers Susana Galante-Oliveira, Isabel OliveiraDaniela Figueiredo, Daniela Freitas and Joana Fonsec presented the activity "Changing Oceans: a dive in warmer and more acidic waters" for students and teachers at elementary, secondary and senior university levels, promoting knowledge and reflection on the climate change ongoing in the worlds’ oceans and their impacts, and raising citizens' awareness concerning the adoption of responsible behaviors in the fight against climate change.
