Registration of grant holders in the Núcleo de Bolseiros - Declaration of the host institution

After being awarded an FCT (post-)doctoral scholarship, it is necessary to formalize the registration in the Núcleo de Bolseiros of the UA. The grantee must fill out the application form (formulário de inscrição) and compile the respective documents into a single PDF file and send them to cesam@ua.pt. After receiving the Application Form and respective documents, CESAM introduces the information in the RHUMO platform. Then, the Núcleo de Bolseiros will issue the declaration of acceptance of the host institution (signed by the Vice-Rector and the CESAM Coordinator). As soon as the declaration is signed, it will be scanned and sent by e-mail, and the original will be made available for collection or mailed. Important Notes: 1. The FCT evaluation form and/or the email with the notification of the results replace the contract to be signed with FCT. This contract, after being signed, should be forwarded to cesam@ua.pt. 2.The declaration of the degree-awarding institution should be requested from the academic services of UA. 3. If you have an active grant, you should indicate whether or not you intend to terminate the respective contract so that the Núcleo de Bolseiros can issue a declaration of professional status. 4. Post-doctoral fellows must formalize their registration at the UA's academic management services. 5. Any decision on withdrawal or suspension of the fellowship period must be communicated to cesam@ua.pt and to the Núcleo de Bolseiros.
