His scientific activity has been focused mainly in the (i) structural and functional stabilization of protein entities (bacteriophage particles, proteins and bioactive peptides) for biopharmaceutical, nutraceutical and food applications, (ii) development of bacterial biosensing devices and (iii) development of biomimetic systems.
