Research interests

Ecophysiology of micro and macroalgae, corals and photosynthetic sea slugs:

Photobiology of micro and macroalgae, corals and photosynthetic sea slugs;
Protection mechanisms associated with light stress;
Photosynthetic pigments (chlorophylls and carotenoids) as biological markers;
Fluorescence sensing techniques for non-intrusive study of photosynthesis;
Macroalgae in Integrated Multitrophic Aquaculture systems.
