Events organization

Organization of the International Advanced Course: NORM IMPACT ASSESSMENT TOOLKIT: FROM MICROORGANISMS TO HUMAN CELLS (online event), that will occur from the 30th August till the 10th September under the project RadoNorm;

Organization of the Congresso Ibérico "Solo e Desenvolvimento Sustentável: Desafios e Soluções", 17-18 June, 2021 (online event).

Outreaching activities

1. Since 2015, participation in the project “Da Escola Agarra a Vida” in collaboration with the Câmara Municipal de Mortágua, Agrupamento de Escolas de Mortágua and the Associação de Desenvolvimento Local (ADICES) in two main events: “Semana das Profissões” and “Na sombra de um Professional”.

Invited lecturer at the event “Semana das Profissões”, with an oral presentation entitled “O que é ser Investigador Científico – Biólogo? Project “Da Escola, Agarra a Vida” – Promoted by Câmara Municipal de Mortágua, 2nd March 2015, Agrupamento de Escolas de Mortágua, Mortágua, Portugal.

Participation in the event “Na sombra de um Profissional” (2015, 2016 and 2017), by receiving a group of students in the laboratory. This event had the main goal of helping students to develop and expand their perspectives and preferences towards different careers, by observing professionals daily routine, their daily tasks, the people they relate to, the kind of decisions they have to make, unexpected events, etc.

2.  Collaboration in the organization of the conference cycle Floresta, Ambiente e Clima, organized by the Câmara Municipal de Mortágua, integrated in the event Expo Mortágua, on the 26th May, 2018.
