Science Communication & Dissemination

ACTIVITIES & INITIATIVES:


Teacher of the class  “Ciências a Brincar”, Sep. 2019 – current , AEC (extracurricular activity) class taught to 1st and 2nd grade children, organized by Câmara Municipal de Ílhavo (CMI). This activity has been contributing to enhance my pedagogic and science communication skills with children.


Coordinator of "Pint of Science Aveiro", Jan. 2019 – current, International Science Communication festival. For further information on 2019 festival, visit the website Pint of Science Portugal.


Lecturer at the National Geographic Exhibition "Photo Ark Porto", Jan. 2018 Talk on role of bees for plant pollination and threats of biodiversity loss to ecosystem services.


Lecturer in the course "Ciências Experimentais", Sep. 2017 – Jun. 2018. Course taught to 4th grade children, organized by IEC Mamarrosa. This activity allowed to improve my communication skills.
