Short Bio

Maria da Luz Fernandes graduated in 2007 in Environmental Engineer and has worked in environmental consulting and academic research. At present, is a PhD Student at the Doctoral Programme of Marine Science, Technology and Management (Do*Mar) in the Enviromental and Planning Department in Aveiro University with a research grand financed by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT). Her main research interests are coastal and ocean integrated planning and management; ecosystem based management; climate change; adaptation and mitigation strategies; strategic environmental assessment and environmental impact assessment.
