Supervisor: Professor Deborah Power, Co-Supervisor: Professor Adelino Canário. Thesis: "Effects of Sodium Hypochlorite on bone development and thyroid axis on Oreochromis mossambicus".

Thesis: "Levels of metals, antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxidation in the green turtle (Chelonia mydas) in the Sultanate of Oman (Arabian Sea)".
