Protecção Radiológica e Segurança Nuclear Project Description The Project CAPTAR aims to create an electronic scientific journal and its corresponding web page, where national researchers investigating on Natural Sciences and Environmental issues will be invited to publish simplified versions of their internationally published manuscripts. These versions will be written in Portuguese language and should be as simplified and adapted as possible, so that teachers and students from basic and secondary school can use them as innovative and up-to-date teaching-learning strategies. We thus aim to contribute to promote scientific and ecological literacy among students, as well as to bridge the gap between school teachers and researchers, therefore helping the formers in the effective implementation of Environmental Education as well as in using an experimental approach in Science Teaching.
