My main focus is how animals respond to changes in the ecosystem after a fire event. I want to understand:

a) how specific animal groups promote ecosystem recovery and at what rate;
b) find potential differences in community composition after fire events that can lead to new communities or ecosystems;
c) the benefits of post-fire mitigation measures in ecosystem recovery.

Other interests:

Integration of audio-visual tools to develop new data collection methods.

Communication in science.

Identify the importance of artificial habitats and ecosystems in regions with human disturbance.

Biodiversity conservation and management in areas affected by climate change and human-induced alterations.
