Development of low-cost methodologies for the removal of organic pollutants from the environment (ground, surface and wastewaters).
Persistence and fate of pharmaceuticals in the environment: photodegradation, adsorption, etc.
Removal of pharmaceuticals from the aquatic environment using low-cost alternatives, such as photodegradation using solar radiation.
