2006 – 2-month internship at the Department of Marine Ecology, University of Aarhus (Denmark). Participation in field trips; trematode parasites’ identification in marine bivalves; mesocosms experiments regarding the influence of various environmental factors in parasites transmission.

2004/05 – Internship, integrated in the Biology degree – Estuarine ecology of macroinvertebrates and environmental monitoring. University of Coimbra.
