Contracting

Wind numerical forecasting for all national eolic farms. 4-daily forecast for 7 days. Contract between Instituto de Ambiente e Desenvolvimento (IDAD) and Rede Eléctrica Nacional (REN). Started: January 2007.


Numerical forecasts for wind, precipitation and solar radiation for mainland Portugal. To be used in the forecast of renewable energy production. Contrat with SMARTWATT (http://www.smartwatt.pt/). Beginning: 2009.
