SKILLS AND COMPETENCES



- Languages: Mother tongue: Italian; Other languages: English and Portuguese.


- Computer skills: ECDL “European computer driving license” obtained from the test provided during my undergraduate program, good ability to use GIS software; basics of ecotoxicological programs such as FOCUS and ESCAPE.


- Technical skills: Use of microscope and stereo-microscope, preparing and reading microscope slides; ability to use tools to dissect macroscopic samples (e.g. scalpel).


- Technical skills: Techniques for wildlife sighting and recognition as well as recognition of traces left by the passage of various animals.


- Technical skills: Use of basic laboratory equipment. Ability to set up experiments in the context of ecology and ecotoxicology testing. Basic skills on the preparation of biological samples for chemical analysis.


- Technical skills: Reptiles, amphibian and fishes catching and handling.


- Technical skills: Amphibian housing, alimentation and artificial reproduction in laboratory conditions.


- Technical skills: Use of sampling instruments for air emissions; high/low flow pumps; flow speed measure, combustion analizer and VOC analizer running.
