Short Bio

Eduardo R. Oliveira is a PhD student in Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), with an individual fellow from FCT (SFRH/BD/104663/2014).


His thesis and latest research work has been dedicated to risk assessment studies in coastal areas, with a strong component of GIS & Remote Sensing technologies and multi-hazard approaches.


With 10 years of professional and academic experience after graduating in MSc in Environmental Engineering (at the University of Aveiro), Eduardo has developed work in 6 countries, participated in 7 national and international research projects, and co-authored multiple scientific publications, including 9 WoS papers.
