Overview:

IES Thematic Line aims to contribute to innovative products, services, models and processes that can benefit the environment by reducing pressure on natural resources and emissions. Despite actual progress towards an increased environmental resilience to systemic risks and changes, there remain major challenges and opportunities to eco-friendly resilience. In this way, IES research strategy assumes the contribution to transition towards a sustainable society and is structured into two priorities: Risk assessment and climate change adaptation; and Resource efficiency and transition to a low carbon and circular economy.
