Research interests

My primary interest is applied ecological research in support of active conservation projects. Over the last years, much of my research is focus on the impact of anthropogenic changes to the landscape and effects on wildlife, mainly the effects of roads on relative abundance, behavior and risk of mortality on owls and mammals.

Currently, I'm a post-doctoral researcher to evaluate roads and wildlife interactions - from patterns to processes (SFRH / BPD / 64205 / 2009).
