Main Research Interests

Behavioural scientist studying coastal systems from an interdisciplinary perspective. My research interests span several issues, including the Human dimensions of fisheries and Marine Protected Areas; Fisheries and Aquaculture socio-economics; Fisheries management; Small-scale fisheries; Recreational fisheries; Labour economics in fisheries; Participation in the decision-making process and governance. My research focuses mostly in Europe (mainly UK, Portugal and Spain).


Presently, occupies the post of  Researcher at the Department of Environment and Planning & Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM).
