Research interests

i) Search for novel antibacterial peptide antibiotics (lantibiotics and traditional antibiotics)
ii) Radioecotoxicogenetics and Radiobiology (study the effects/responses to stress induced by exposure to radionuclides and metals)
iii) Molecular mechanisms of bacterial resistance to xenobiotics; dissemination of antibiotic resistance (hospital and wild mammals)
