Research interests

Physical Oceanography
Ocean Modelling
Biophysical Modelling
Biogeochemical cycles
-Continental Shelf and slope modelling and dynamics, based on three-dimensional nested models of ocean and atmosphere
-Application of numerical ocean modelling to interdisciplinary problems, including: biogeochemical cycles; phytoplankton dynamics.
-Circulation, and water exchange between estuaries and coastal ocean.
-Marine connectivity, with emphasis on interactions of larval behaviour with physical forcing in the control of dispersal and recruitment of marine specie.
