interesses de investigação

I am a biologist interested in animal ecology and biodiversity conservation. My recent research focused on the feeding ecology of seabirds and predatory fish, in addition to their interactions with the marine ecosystem and currently I am studying the impact of migrant shorebirds in shaping the structure of local communities and ecosystem functioning in intertidal coastal wetlands in Europe and Africa. Most of my fieldwork has been based in West Africa and involved the support and collaboration of local organizations and communities. I am enthusiastic birdwatcher and bird ringer.
